Totally isolated from the rest of the manufacturing areas, it boasts of "Class 100" working conditions with several key components: a uni-directional air-flow system, a "moisture-barrier" humidity control, and so on.

The always-looming threat of cross-contamination is eliminated by the use of separate air-handling systems for the operations in each rooms of the tablet and capsule line - and each line of parenteral preparations.

Pressure gradients are maintained in order to ensure that air movement takes place only from critical to non-critical areas.
